Welcome to Peak Season
Q4 is here, and we’re preparing for the busiest shipping season of the year—with you in mind!
As orders pick up, we’re here to help you plan ahead. In this update, we’ll cover carrier demand surcharges, 2026 holiday shipping deadlines, and new ShipSage system features designed to make your day-to-day fulfillment easier.
To give your business a strong start to peak season, we recommend planning inventory and promotions early. Please also build in extra time for inbound receiving and outbound delivery as shipping volumes increase.
Thank you for choosing ShipSage. We look forward to helping you have a successful holiday season!
The ShipSage Team
Updated API Documentation
We've refreshed our API documentation to help you build and maintain your ShipSage integrations more easily.
You'll find new modules covering Transfer, VAS, and Return. Whether you're starting a new integration or updating an existing one, we recommend taking a look at the latest documentation before you begin.
Claim Unidentified Returned Items
When a returned item arrives at our warehouse without a scannable barcode, we cannot reliably identify it, so we place it in "Lost & Found."
If you're expecting a customer return but don't see it in your Return list, please check "Lost & Found." Our new Claim Lost & Found Items feature lets you review unidentified returns and claim the items that belong to you.
After you submit a claim, our Success Team will review it. Once approved, the items will be added to your account's inventory.
ASN Carton Label Code
We've added additional label codes in our ASN Carton Label to help streamline inbound receiving.
You can now choose the correct carton label code to more clearly identify products associated with an ASN, helping our warehouse team match incoming inventory to the correct inbound shipment and process receiving more efficiently.
Tip: Make sure the appropriate ShipSage carton labels are attached to your inbound cartons before shipping inventory to our warehouses.
